CLONE FLOWERS: SHOULD YOU BE AFRAID??

Наверняка многие из Вас видели объявления о продаже комнатных цветов с подписью «Home plant, not a branch». And in this regard, the opinion has been established, what cloned specimens are capricious and unviable, because they are grown in a nutritious mixture and ideal conditions. But it's true, some purchased flowers begin to hurt or become “harmful”, when we bring them home. But is that the reason, that they are clones?

I would like to point out right away, that absolutely all Dutch plants brought to us were obtained as a result of cloning. And these are just those, what is sold in stores and from the vast majority of private sellers (even grandmothers at the market, if it is phalaenopsis or violets in factory packaging).

CLONED FLOWERS NEED ADAPTATION

so, you bought a plant, brought home, and over time it begins its “tricks”. This is due to, that in Holland flowers are grown in conditions (light, air humidity, fertilizers, hormones, etc.), close to ideal. Therefore it is absolutely natural, when, due to a sudden change in conditions, a newcomer experiences stress and this is reflected in his appearance. Over time, the pet will adapt to the new environment and after adaptation will feel quite comfortable.

I will notice, that not all plants deteriorate their decorative properties during the acclimatization process. This is due to the fact, How resistant is this species to such changes and is the culture in general capricious?. But not with that, how did the plant come into being?.

People, acquiring unadapted plants from Asia (Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan), know for sure, how hard it is for some of them to get used to new conditions.

There is virtually no doubt when buying directly from collectors, what are they - seedlings or plants from a tuber or cuttings. But with our growing appetites, where is the guarantee?, that in the future the Asians will not start mass production of clones. And what's wrong with that??

YOU DON'T HAVE TO FEAR

Cloning is the process of plant propagation, in which a large number of babies are obtained from a small part of the mother specimen in a short period of time. That's the whole difference. Imagine, what fields of queen cells should the Dutch or Thais have?, to saturate the market for indoor flowers from cuttings or seeds only.

I think, Now you understand, what not costs are afraid clones of-for way to obtain them. After all, most of your plants at home are clones or their descendants, and they are no different from each other. Love them like this, what they are, and they will reciprocate.
