Judging by the small leaves, I thought, what is a miniature tradescantia. It turned out, her relative is callisia. The name means "beauty" in Greek., and not in vain: the plant looks like this, what else can you say.
OPENWORK NOVELTY In the spring I bought a small pot with Callisia creeping Pink Panther at the exhibition (Callisia repens Pink Panther). Since spring, I transplanted callisia several times. As a result, a bush with a diameter of about 40 cm. During this time, rooted many cuttings.
I follow a few simple rules when it comes to grooming.: – diffused good lighting with shading from the sun;
- – summer high humidity, in the heat you need to spray the leaves;
- – in winter, the temperature of the content should not fall below +14 city.;
- – the plant loves fresh air, in warm weather, you can put it on the balcony;
- – in winter, drafts and temperature changes should not be allowed;
- – Reduce watering during cold season, letting the earthy coma dry for about 4 cm deep;
- – in the spring-summer period, feed with universal fertilizers for ornamental leafy plants - once every two weeks.

To keep the plant decorative, not aging so fast, it is necessary to regularly pinch the tips of the shoots.
You can cut young cuttings, put in water - roots will appear within a week. It is better to immediately plant a lot of cuttings in a pot, to make the bush more magnificent. Suitable soil from turf land, sand, humus (1:1:1). I add vermiculite. Drainage at the bottom of the flowerpot is required.
