Slightly pubescent leaves, as if covered with snow, evoke thoughts of a winter fairy tale.

At all, the plant belongs to garden. It is planted on alpine slides and rocky gardens.. But there is one peculiarity - calocephalus is afraid of frost.. Conditions for keeping a handsome man in the cold season - as for succulents.
Watering needs moderate, even limited, the complete drying of the earthen coma must not be allowed. Better to do without feeding. Calocephalus will need them in the spring.. During growth, a solution of complex fertilizer with a predominance of nitrogen is added weekly, but at half dose.

However, the plant reproduces well by cuttings in spring.. Strong apical and cut off faded shoots of calocephalus are rooted in separate cups, by treating the cut sites with a root formation stimulant. In a substrate of sand and soddy-leaf soil (1:1) deepen the cuttings on 3-4 cm and contain at a temperature +20-25 city, at moderate air humidity.
