Horsetail Russelia is still rare in flower collections. She deservedly received her nicknames "living curtains" and "plant fireworks": its stems perfectly shade the window, and tubular flowers appear at the ends of young shoots. Russelia at this time looks like a blooming waterfall.

CONTENT TEMPERATURE OF RUSSIA

In the summer heat he likes to drink, I water in the evening every day, without draining the water from the sump. In winter - with drying on 2-3 cm and do not leave water in the pan. The bay leads to death, especially young plants

TRANSPLANTATION OF RUSSELIA

It is a fast growing culture, so I'm overloading 2 once a year. I select the pot according to the size of the root system + additional 2-3 cm to the walls. A high drainage layer is mandatory

A blend of universal primer with coconut fiber and vermiculite (3:1)

Reproduction Combine with spring pruning (blooms only on young shoots). Stem cuttings root well in the ground, but in water they form roots faster. In both cases, I use root formation stimulants and a greenhouse
