CRUSADES IN AUTUMN AND WINTER

Since autumn, there is a fatal lack of light in the house for the groundwort., even if it hangs near the south window.

Therefore, the succulent needs to create such conditions., under which it will not grow, but at the same time it will not lose its decorative effect until spring.

COLD WINTER OF THE CRUSADER

In October I bring the peasant to the house, I hang it in a cold corridor near a south-facing window, almost close to the glass.

I water it for the last time before the forced drought, which I create myself. I moisturize during rest, but only when the beads become noticeably sluggish (in the cold it can happen later 1-1,5 months).

And even so I don't water, and abundantly spray the soil with settled, slightly acidified water. The rate of drying of the substrate depends on the temperature of the content, that is why cold winters are preferable for succulents. If you grow it warm, water sparingly and after a slight loss of turgor (about 2 once a month).

DON'T MISS ROT

Bacterial rot from overflow develops instantly and is capable of killing a rosewort in a couple of days, especially in a warm room. Seeing any spots on the plant, darkened legs, on which "beads" are attached, or "boiled" leaves-balls, cut everything at once to healthy tissue. "Fundazole", "Maxim", "Oxyhom" or any other systemic fungicide according to the instructions, but not "Fitosporin". It is more suitable for prevention and only works with prolonged use..

I repeat, that the best preventive measure is to keep the soil dry during the rest period.
