Dizygote – the tips of the leaves turn black. How to help?

ALTERNARIOSIS IN DIGIGOOTECHA

In the summer I took out the dizygotek to the loggia, and in autumn, returning to the room, discovered, that the tips of the leaves have turned black. What about the plant and how to help it?

It's hard to define without a photo, what about the plant, but I will assume the development of a fungal disease - Alternaria. The symptoms are as follows: first the tip of the leaf turns black, then the slick spreads and the entire ground part gradually dies. The disease progresses in autumn, when the heating is turned on and there is a sharp temperature drop.

HOW TO TREAT DYZIGOTEKA

Dizygotek can be cured only at an early stage of the disease.. Cut off all affected leaves and plant parts, then treat the plant with a fungicide (Fundazol, Topsin, "Score", "Topaz", «Dektra») every 10-14 days before symptoms disappear. In the future, for prophylaxis, use during rest "Trichodermin" or "Fitosporin" (according to instructions).

DIFFICULT WINTER

Dizigoteka does not like cold in any of its manifestations: no cold water irrigation, no drafts… In autumn and winter, a dormant period begins for the plant., during which it is difficult for him to please and with lighting, and with air humidity, and even more so with watering.

As a result – rotten roots, complete or partial loss of leaves. In my opinion, it is better to let the foliage fall from low air humidity (25% instead of required 70%). Moreover, the crown will recover in the spring.. You can help the plant, constantly sprinkling it. Lack of lighting can be compensated for by placing in the brightest possible place or using additional lighting.
