Passionflower blue already 5 years makes me happy from spring to late autumn with its beauty, and then delicious fruits.
And the leaves of the plant do not disappear - I dry them and use them to make tea (1 st.l.. pour a glass of boiling water, through 7-10 filtering minutes). It perfectly strengthens the nerves and helps with insomnia. The main thing is to take a drink a couple of hours before bed..
SUMMER PASSIFLORA BREEDING
Passionflower can be grown from seeds, but it is advisable to sow them in February-March. To multiply in the summer, cut stem cuttings. They form well in water or in a mixture of peat and sand (1:1).
FEEDING FOR PASSIFLORA BLUE
I water the vine regularly and abundantly after the top layer of the soil has dried. She is responsive to spraying. When the soil is dry, it drops the buds.
I feed once a 2 weeks full mineral liquid fertilizer: at the beginning of growth - 2 st.l.. nitrophosphate of 10 l of water, then - a preparation with a lower nitrogen content (about 6%) and the predominance of potassium and phosphorus (30% and 20%), but I take less than the dose indicated in the instructions. With the advent of top dressing buds (with potassium) I make time in 10 days.
Having planted one bush of passionflower in a flowerpot d = 40 cm, another - 30 cm, noticed, that in a smaller volume, the plant quickly developed and bloomed. The second took a long time to grow roots, therefore the flowers blossomed only in August and the fruits did not have time to ripen.

STRENGTHENING AND PROTECTING THE FLOWER
The plant needs strong support. We have shoots clinging to arches along the gazebo in the garden in a sunny place (Passionflower does not bloom in the shade). Working with the crown is easy, since the whips are flexible, and the antennae are tenacious. For branching and lush flowering, I pinch the tips. I plant verbena bushes in flowerpots around the edges for the summer. They protect the vine root system from overheating and drying out, and also cover her "legs".

At home, transplanted the plant into fresh soil. Liana began to develop so quickly, that I had to make a wire support in the form of a ring. Now I "round" the sprout.
Passionflower is bright. It stands on my western window with additional lighting in winter: from 7 to 10 hours and from 17 to 23.
The plant was transplanted in the spring. Feed with universal fertilizer until autumn.
I pour boiled water, as soon as the soil dries. Do not spray during cold weather, only sometimes I wash the leaves under a warm shower.
The temperature during wintering is not lower than +13 city.
